Don't see your plan listed? Don't Worry! Many insurance companies have optical coverage under a different name or provider. Give us a call and tell us what you have, We'll let you know if you're covered.
What are the office's hours of operation?
We open at 9:30 am Monday through Friday, and close at 5:30 pm, except on Thursdays, when we stay open until 7:00 pm to accommodate patients with less flexible work schedules.
Does Vision Quest Optical accept medicaid plans?
Yes! At this time, we are approved to accept medicaid vision plans provided by United, Meridian, McLaren, and Priority Health.
Does your office have my brand of contacts?
Yes, as long as they are current. We can get any brand of contact lenses still in production, and rarely, lenses that are recently out of production.
How long does an eye exam take?
While it can vary depending on the patient, a standard examination takes about twenty minutes, and a contact lens exam takes about thirty minutes. The amount of time you take looking at glasses is entirely up to you!
How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment?
While a few days notice let's us gather all the necessary insurance information, we can schedule same day appointments if we have an open slot. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can't promise you won't have a short stint in our waiting room.
How long does it take to get my glasses back?
In most cases, we recieve an order 7-10 days after it's sent out. This can vary on a few conditions, including insurance company preferences, specialty frames, or type of product orrdered.
